We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success. In this role, you will partner closely with customers to deploy, integrate, and operationalize our security platform in complex real-world environments. You will solve hard technical problems, shape product direction through direct field insight, and help customers turn security goals into working systems.
What you will do
Lead technical deployments for strategic customers across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments
Design and build integrations with customer infrastructure, identity systems, logging pipelines, cloud platforms, and security tooling
Translate customer pain points into product requirements and work closely with engineering to improve core capabilities
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and drive successful rollouts from proof of concept to full deployment
Build reusable implementation patterns, internal tooling, and reference architectures
Act as a trusted technical advisor for customer security and engineering teams
What we are looking for
Strong software engineering background, ideally in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java
Experience integrating with APIs, cloud environments, Kubernetes, identity platforms, and modern security stacks
Strong understanding of application security, cloud security, detection engineering, or infrastructure security
Ability to debug distributed systems and work directly in customer environments
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with both executives and hands-on technical teams
Bias toward action, ownership, and delivering outcomes in ambiguous settings
Nice to have
Experience in security product companies or developer platforms
Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IAM, CNAPP, CSPM, or SOAR ecosystems
Exposure to enterprise architecture and regulated environments
Experience supporting pre-sales, pilots, or solution architecture engagements
